Number of workers with registered grows
Jobs with register had increased in 7,1% in Brazil in 2008, point IBGE

The number of registered jobs is one of the prominences of the National Research of Domiciles (Pnad), carried through by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistic (IBGE) and divulged in the last friday (18/9). According to study, that evidenced advances in the market of Brazilian work, in 2008, the number of jobs in the country had a 7,1% increase, passing of 33,1% of the busy ones in 2007 for 34,5% in the last year. One is about an addition of 2,1 million workers with formal job, totalizing about 31,9 used million with register. It is important to stand out that this growth also resulted in the rise of the number of contributors of the Social welfare in 5,9%. Still in accordance with the Pnad, of the 92,4 million busy people in 2008, 58,6% of them, that is, 54,2 million people were used 7,2% (6,6 million) were diligent domestic servants 20,2% (18,7 million), workers on account proper 4,5% (4,1 million people), employers 5% (4,6 million), workers not remunerated 4,5% (4,1 million), workers in the production for proper consumption and 0,1% (0,1 million), workers in the construction for the proper use. Pnad 2008 also showed that the region North had increase of 2,1 percentile points (20,9% for 23%) in the job with signed wallet. In the South, the growth was of 1,6 percentile point (of 37,2% for 38,8%), and in the Southeast, of 1,4 percentile point (of 42,2% for 43,6%). On the other hand, there was reduction of the percentage of the autonomous workers, of 21,2% in 2007 for 20,2% in 2008, in the country.
