The industry of the Federal District followed in the contrahand of the performance of the national companies and registered growth in the pointers of invoicing and employed staff. In the six first months of 2009, the industrial sales had had an increase of 4,53% in comparison with equal period of the last year. The job offerings, in the same period of comparison, advanced 2.39%. The Indicating results consist of the Research of Performance of the Industry of the DF, carried through by the Federacy of the Industries (FIBER), in partnership with Instituto Euvaldo Lodi (IEL-DF) and with the support of the Sebrae/DF. For the president of the Fibra, Antonio Pedra, the contrast between the DF and the others Brazilian capitals is explained by the characteristics of the local industrial park. With strong intent production in goods of half and not-durable consumption, the local industrial activity was less affected than other regions, where the production of durable goods and industrial goods of consumption is strong. "These characteristics, associates to the actions who come being implemented by the government, as tax incentives and magnifying of offer of credit, as well as the maintenance of the workmanships of the Government of the Federal District, will have to stimulate the production in the second semester.
