The National Research of Domiciles (Pnad) divulged in this friday (18) by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistic (IBGE), referring to the year of 2008, shows that the civil construction was the sector with bigger expansion of busy people in Brazil. In accordance with the Pnad, of 2007 for 2008, the general contingent of workers in Brazil grew 2,8%, totalizing 92,4 million people, stimulated by the sector of the civil construction (14,1% growth), that generated about 900 thousand new ranks of work in all the country. The prominences had been the regions North, with 19,9% growth in the vacant in the sector of construction, and Northeast, with 19,6%. According to data divulged today by the Folha Online paper, in 2008, were 6,9 million workers in the construction, the equivalent to 7,5% of the total of used in all the country. Pnad 2008 investigated 391,868 people in 150.591 domiciles for the country regarding seven subjects (given general of the population, migration, education, work, family, domiciles and income), having September as reference month. The data of the Pnad do not contemplate the effect of theinternational financial crisis. As divulged in the last edition of the Móbile Fornecedores magazine (216), the market of furniture is being positively influenced by the recent expansion of the civil construction, that grew 10,9% in 2007, after presenting an increase of 7,1% in the previous year, according to Annual Research of the Civil Construction (PAIC 2007), also carried through for the divulged IBGE and in June of this year. The index represents the biggest expansion of the sector since 1996, when the historical series of the study had started. "Obviously the 2007 numbers do not match with the reality anymore", says the economist Décio Pizzato. He believes that, after a fall in the consumption results of the international crisis, from July of this year, the economic situation modified and the Brazilian economy started to heat, in the same domino effect stimulated by the crisis. "This incentive to the consumption was never seen. The program ''My House, My Life'', of the federal government, will stimulate the civil construction, that will stimulate the furniture sales", defended him in the news article.
