“Femade can be a Ligna for Latin America”

Martin Folkerts, global director of the Deutsche Messe GAC, German company who organizes the Ligna Hannover and responsible for the commercialization and divulgation in the exterior of the International Fair for the Industry of Wood, Furniture and Forest Sector (Femade), believes that the Brazilian event will be the arm of the Ligna for Latin America. For this, the fair has full conditions of take this role, becoming "Ligna not only for Brazil, but for all the market of Latin America". According to Folkerts, that came to Brazil for a series of meeting involving organizadores, entrepreneurs and the press, the country did not come receiving the deserved attention from the European company. "Many companies are interested in extending businesses in the sectors forest, lumber and furniture, but they do not know the country and they had never had the chance to participate of an event that facilitated to the presence of them", declared. The Femade will be carried through of 24 to 28 of May of 2010, in Pinhais (PR). Already the Ligna, one of the main fairs for the forest and lumber industry of the world, will be in 2011, of 30th of May to 3rd of June, in Hannover, Germany.
